The purpose of an electrical system is to supply electrical power to circuits and systems.
Major system in an electrical system:
Starting system - to switch on the engine
Charging system - charges the battery which supplies energy to the vehicle
Major components:
Battery - supply power to the circuit and system
Ignition switch - enable power to be supplied to components
Fuses - circuit breakers
Lights - converts electrical energy into light energy
Relays - used for voltage drop
Alternator - charge the battery and supply power
Starter motor - to start the engine of a vehicle
